Merry Christmas to you and your husband and your all your family.
I have the most gratitude for all that the NHS does, I was back in A&E over the past two weeks (got out of hospital yesterday) and they managed to get my body to stay on
this mortal world. (Is that right saying??)
Thank you both for what you do for the NHS.
Have a brilliant Christmas and letโs hope 2026 will be a bright and healthy one for us all xx
Awww... *Gentle* is such a lovely word... ๐Thank you dearest Bear ๐ป for the many thousands of much appreciated, enjoyed and shared words, and for supporting our poor NHS ๐ Wishing you, your Husband and beloved feline god, 'feliz navidad', (yes, we're in Spain!) and a wonderful year ahead ๐ฅณ Much love Pat Xx
Hope on call Christmas gives you a break or two, hot coffee, decent chocolate, some free mince pies and a silly hat to wear over your scrub cap.
You have kept me distracted yet connected through a six months that have also been "a lot" here too, thank you.
Gay Christmas sounds like the atermath of one of our less well advised New Year's parties in Belgium a few years ago. We'd poured out quite a few cold ones with friends, and were making our very merry way back to the hotel in the rain. Mr Chazer was wheeling a suitcase which caught a wheel in a drain grating. It knocked him off balance, he collided with me. We both went down like skittles. I ended up full length on the paving, half lying in a puddle, with a banged up knee, hip and elbow, scraped, muddy and soaked. At least the amount of alcohol I'd had cushioned the pain for a bit, but my goodness, I made a right mess of myself. Not binged like that since, just as well given my current state of non-health.
Happy Christmas, and an even happier New Year as you make your way through life post-NHS.
