Good to read your reflections today Bear and good to hear you've had a partial much needed break 👍🏼

Excuse me if I missed it, in which case just to reiterate:

Pensions are not a 'benefit'. Workers contribute through taxation to their working life pension 'pot'.

Good to see you back Bear. I think the UK press are slipping into the cesspool of X. Real journalists are now mainly independents. Boycotting those newspapers is my way.

Glad you have managed to have a well deserved rest from writing and hope you feel better for it

Thank you for your observations, especially Reform policy on welfare

Welcome back. Great analysis as usual, especially around piss poor planning and investment in the skills we need, yet another win for profit first neoliberal policy

Reform, Farage, Jenrick, the right wing nut press all survive and maintain power by trading in spite.

Any group that can be othered and stigmatised is a target for them, grist to the mill. Self perpetuating and without responsibility.

I fear, with I think justification, that it will take a tragedy of huge proportions to turn the tide. Though it will come. Not soon enough though.

Secondly, great to see you’re back online, we have missed you.

no doubt time will teach us more about Arday‘s death, Burnham, the abomination that is Reform and, multitasking.

Have a great Sunday!
