Willy and I will happily dive face first into whatever you need researched. It is our full-time hobby and frankly the only thing stopping us chain-drinking/smoking and starting a small, principled riot.

This is probably from before your time in the U.K. Mr Bear. John Redwood was, at one time, regarded as one of the more intelligent members of the Conservative party and a potential leader. He was sometimes referred to as "two brains" because of this. It appears that both of them have long departed the reality that we live in.

Oh no. Both still there, and machinating all the time how he can make more money at the expense of Britain. Twice as evil, certainly.

Wasn't Redwood the Mekon (from the Dan Dare cartoon strip) rather than Two Brains? Love The Bear's description of him!

Redwood was known as The Vulcan. David Willetts was "Two Brains."

I thought that was David Willetts?

I suppose having two brains at least gives a medical reason for cognitive dissonance

Hello Bear, happy to help in any way I can.

Beyond what I have put into my profile (EU citizen, living in Scotland), I’ve got a finely tuned bovine manure detector* and I am happy to provide any kind of legwork.

(* expertly trained via a classic history education plus years spent writing marketing materials myself.)

Redwood is as batshit as Truss. Same dangerous delusions. Same dark money think tanks that they both enjoy slithering around in.

It was two-brains (David) Willets. Redwood has never been seriously referred to even as one-brain Redwood. That's why Willets is no longer a (Conservative) MP and Redwood still is. The Tory party dispensed with the need for any intelligence a long time ago.

Your recent dose of SA sunshine has plainly energised you and I look forward to reading all "75 Brexit Benefits" being shredded.

I trust you will receive many offers of help from experts.

Thank you once again Bear

Good work. I’m guessing you must know of Chris Grey at Royal Holloway who has long been very good on debunking Brexits endless lies

I too was going to recommend getting in touch with Chris Grey. He has written about Brexit since the referendum and has probably covered every topic that can be linked to it.

Agreed. Coolly analytical as well with less political point scoring. Even if there are lots of open goals!

Ah, junktanks as George Monbiot calls them. A reliable source of misinformation, misdirection and stories so fanciful that they would be in the “Fantasy” section of the library (if your town still has one). I shall follow this momentous project with interest and make sure that, while you show us the receipts, I will save them all and get them out when needed.

I cannot claim to have any specialist knowledge of the sort which you are seeking, but I used to be a mental health nurse, so I can ask you how you feel about it.

Wishing you the energy, motivation and drive to get this project going and may the odds be ever in your favour 🙌

Massive undertaking and I’m really looking forward to reading the 75 episodes. If anyone can give this the attention and dissection it deserves, you can.

If you are daft enough to do this, the least I can do is properly subscribe - so I've just done that.

Good luck.

Best wishes for this. Do you have a Ko-Fi or similar that you can give a link to? I feel like that's a minimum level of direct sustenance that people could offer.

Also, really appreciate the idea of creating a reference, rather than a rebuttal. One of the best things about Russ Jones' magisterial trilogy is that with its referencing and so on it fulfils exactly that purpose for the Tory government. This is the "first draft of history"....

A brave and excellent project, Bear. I don't have technical expertise to offer, but I do have the resources of time (retired), an English and history degree (gained sometime back in the early 14th century) and endless bolshiness. So if there's anything I can help with - bit of research, proof-reading/editing, dogsbody-ing - then please let me know.

“Gully Foyle is my name

And Terra is my nation.

Deep space is my dwelling place,

And death's my destination.“

(The Stars my Destination by Alfred Bester)

In the novel Foyle is a rapist and a “cancer”

Weird choice of pseudonym
