I don't think he will understand British sarcasm. He has defined the USA, beyond reasonable doubt, as the party in any negotiation that must deliver up front before other terms apply. Nobody can trust the USA as they have no political or legal control over a dictatorial president. Very sad decline. 😢

Cara's avatar

If I may summarise, Sir!

*tRump’s an absolute tw@t,

the whole US administration are clueless feckin eejits

Farage is a piece of thick shoite for following him.

Is that about right?

Tim Morris's avatar

To be honest, I feel like you're underselling it a tad ...

YES!!!!!!

Couldn't have said it better myself!

One thing he has done, he's united the world against him. He's exposed himself, Israel and his Government.

Jeni's avatar

He has done more than that. He has pointed a very bright spotlight on the unfit for purpose nature of Western political and fiscal systems.

I haven't a clue what to replace the current forms of democratic governance and capitalism with but replaced they must be.

W Adam's avatar

I really don’t like the idea of Frump exposing himself 😳😳😵‍💫

Don't worry, he permanently gives tiny dick energy, so chances are you wouldn't see anything under that fat gut anyway

Liking this seems wrong - because it's such a repulsive thought! But bravo!

Hilary Minor's avatar

Yes, but what is the outcome of all that? Nothing. The horror is set to keep rolling until it rolls itself and a not inconsiderable part of the World off the edge of a very high cliff onto some very sharp rocks below.

Epic peace (sic) , truly epic. The whole regime behind this require a comeuppance, close US embassies, make the dignitaries within the whole ‘Whitehouse’ bubble ‘persona non gratis’,

Stop laying out red carpet welcomes, treat them as the pariah individuals they are. Banish the ‘heritage foundation’ members & sycophants from these shores, and send the ‘Tufton st’ lobbyists packing.🤬

It’ll take decades to repair all the damage and ill will they’ve created, UK govt has got to start sticking up for its people against the ‘bullying’ by Tiny hands, maybe shut down his golf courses for a start🤔

I wanted to write something witty about how Keir Starmer is benefiting from standing up against the Tangerine Tyrant but actually words fail me! You said it all .

Dear Bear 🐻, every word dripping with a sarcasm that is so you! A masterpiece of a letter! Unfortunately the orange asshole is far too stupid ( there, I've said it!) to comprehend sarcasm, and will probably frame this letter ( and deservedly so) but for all the wrong reasons. This is what the majority of Brits appear to be feeling, myself included. My letter would have had many more extremely rude words in it, so I applaud your restraint. Even through the anger with the disgusting orange one, you always made me laugh. Love ❤️ you so much dear, darling, clever Bear 🐻. You're incredible!🤣❤️🫂 xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

So looking forward to the day some other European leader (other than the PM of Spain, that is, who is brilliant) will have the courage and integrity to tell Trump to f**k off, and take his ambassador with him. Also, as somebody who gets to hear USAF jets and other aircraft Every. Bloody. Day playing games overhead, they can take them too!

Jeni's avatar

Trumplethinskin has hit the jackpot this time hasn't he. Not content with breaking the backs of his own people he has now managed to cripple the world and still enrich himself and the loathesome fruit of his loins.

The simple diagnostic test for a malignant narcissist is to say 'no' to one. Doesn't matter how politely it's done a refusal unleashes the full force of narcissistic rage.

It will be interesting and doubtless painful to see what he does to us all for declining his invitation to hose the odiferous brown lumps off his bed sheets for him.

Let' us hope my prediction of his demise around Easter is on the money.

Hilary Minor's avatar

On what do you base your prediction of Trump's demise around Easter? Give me hope, please?

Mike's avatar

Eloquently put Bear, although I doubt the Tangerine Tyrant would grasp the subtleties or even the nuance, of your words. Bravo Bear!

A wonderful insight into the consequences of the Orange Turd’s ridiculous warmongering and I truly hope you send it to him… although I doubt he has the actual ability to read and comprehend.

The only thing the rest of the world must do now is isolate him and his incompetent administration and ensure that absolutely NO cooperation in his stupid war is offered. Get the American bases in this country shut down so they cannot be used to launch attacks from this country, send all of their military back to America and shut their embassy while we’re at it.

In every possible sense, America and the orange dictator must learn that one person’s actions will have the direst consequences on each and every inhabitant of that country.

They who will not listen must feel!

Hilary Minor's avatar

"Get the American bases in this country shut down so they cannot be used to launch attacks from this country." And I would add: "Get the American bases in this country shut down so they cannot be used to launch attacks on this country". Given the level of Trump's insanity this is entirely possible - maybe he hopes he can treat us like a rather larger version of Cuba!

As ever, Iratus, you nail it. Who would have anticipated that launching an ill-thought-out military intervention in the most volatile place on the planet would have such significant ramifications? It's almost hard to believe that we haven't seen energy shocks every time Israel and one or more of their neighbours have gone toe-to-toe with each other. The oil shock of the 1970's must have been part of an alternate timeline, one in which Americans didn't face queues at petrol pumps as stocks dwindled. History obviously began on 1st January 2024 with the end of the Biden administration. How else do we explain this?

Yet we still have numerous British politicians and media figures decrying Starmer's lack of support for this illegal, immoral, and ill-conceived campaign. As every sane political figure around the globe declines the opportunity to put military assets and personnel in the firing line, Farage and Badenoch continue to call out Starmer. He has embarrassed the UK (allegedly). He is damaging the 'special relationship' (which seems more like bending over and taking one for England). We are losing our moral standing on the global stage.

Naturally, this bypasses the diminished status the UK enjoys in this post-Brexit world. The one in which the previous Conservative government spent months touring the globe pleading for trade deals, returning to boast of opportunities the UK enjoyed before Brexit, but now with the added benefit of being the weaker partner and having to take whatever was on offer. It also ignores the damage Blair did with his unstinting (unthinking) support for Bush's post 9-11 Iraqi midadventure that left hundreds of thousands of Iraqis dead, hundreds of British troops sacrificed, and Britain at greater risk of terrorist attack. These are minor details (well, aside from Blair, everyone hates Blair).

Of course, Starmer's critics are correct about his ineptitude in managing the UK economy. It's hard to believe he's trying to convince people that Labour has created greater stability and resilience to weather storms like this. Nearly two years on from the ousting of the Tory Government From Hell (even by Tory standards), about the only people feeling financially safe are the homeless. After all, when you've lost everything, you've nothing left to lose. How Starmer or any Labour politician feels they can talk positively about the economy is a mystery. Mind you, what is even more bemusing is that there are Tory politicians who try to talk up their economic credibility, despite several hundred years' worth of evidence that would disabuse anyone of that notion.

There is, however, one thing we can be genuinely grateful to Trump for. I don't think we've ever faced a confluence of truly demoralising events in such a short space of time. If, by some miracle, we survive the next year or so, we will be able to look back on any hardship and think: "Well, it's not as bad as when Trump was in office, is it?" There's an obvious challenge there, though. We've got to survive the next few months. I don't know about you, Iratus, but I'm not convinced we will.

Brilliant Bear. He didn’t let a little inconvenience of Rules of Engagement bother him one iota - such decisiveness!

Roz Cummins's avatar

A wonderful post, Bear. Sarcasm at it's absolute best. I wish the Americans 'did' sarcasm.

Mark Williams's avatar

Do you think he has to try to achieve as much… or is he just naturally good at it 😂

Oh so true. Trouble is the dosey twat doesn't do sarcasm. So the ignorant burk may just thank you.
