Bear Necessities: Nearly 27 Days Strong in the Charts! 🐻
Clinging to the charts with gratitude, sharpened claws and your incredible support!
Dear Readers and Friends,
Apologies for being a bit quiet this week - it’s been one of those weeks where life decides to chuck everything at you at once. A few work things have gotten more than a bit complicated (if only I could delegate stress!). But amidst the chaos, there’s been some truly wonderful news that I just had to share.
I am genuinely so chuffed to see that Bear Necessities of Politics and Power is still holding its ground nearly 27 days after publication!
In the Political Humour category, it’s proudly at #2, right behind Frankie Boyle and Charlie Skelton’s A Short History of the Apocalypse. Honestly, what a title - and if you haven’t checked it out yet, it looks brilliant. Being in such stellar company still feels a little surreal.
Meanwhile, under Political Ideologies, Bear Necessities is at #5, and I won’t lie—I’ve been side-eyeing that #1 spot where Nadine Dorries’ Downfall is sitting. It’s a little victory to have overtaken it once before with Bear With Me earlier this year, and with your support, perhaps we can do it again. (Call it a public service, if you will 😉)
To everyone who has bought the book, reviewed it, shared it, or just cheered me on - thank you. I genuinely mean it. Your support has made this journey so much more rewarding, and I’m endlessly grateful.
If you haven’t had a chance to grab a copy yet and you’re curious, you can find Bear Necessities of Politics and Power here:
And as always, I’d love to hear your thoughts if you’ve read it - feedback, good or bad, is always welcome.
Here’s to more wins, more laughs, and hopefully a bit less chaos next week.
Thanks for sticking with me through it all - life wouldn’t be the same without you.
Gratefully,
🐻
Good to hear, and well deserved .
If only Bears could be cloned.
Absolutely fantastic news!
So highly deserved to be there my friend.
